Continuing with our 5 C’s campaign, this month’s Cusick “C” is one of, if not the, most important – Competency. And of course, Citrus – one of my personal favorites amongst Arizona’s 5 C’s.
That being said, springtime brings great beauty to our desert home, and the smell of orange blossoms wafting through the air is a time that I personally am always grateful for. It reminds me of new beginnings, and those beautiful white blossoms that I see every March bring me a sense of home, belonging, and joy.
An out-of-state client, whom I worked with for three beautiful AZ springs, recently mentioned how much they love this time of year in Phoenix and the amazing smell of our citrus blossoms. They were looking to make a permanent move from Illinois to Arizona but time constraints and uncertainty about the Phoenix real estate market made it challenging for them to make a concrete decision about what area of the Valley they wanted to put down roots. They also had the added stress of needing to sell their Chicago residence before they could purchase here.
Fast forward three years, with lots of patience, communication, and true competency, The Cusick Group and I were able to find them the perfect home and officially welcome them as full-time residents to Arizona.
Now, at 60+ years old, they are training to hike the Grand Canyon, and couldn’t be happier.
